Our first -- off to Kindergarten! She was so excited that she didn't even look back to say goodbye as she got on the bus. I can't wait to hear all about it when she gets home. The only tears in our house this morning were from her little sister who misses her very much. I didn't cry (surprised?), but I think Daddy was a little sad. He stayed home from work this morning to enjoy breakfast with his little girl before her first day of school.

I'm proud of you Ryan... letting her ride the bus alone...lol.... I remember hearing you say "not my girls... they are being home schooled!"....wink/smile I'm glad you got to be there for it.
Be thankful you've built the confidence in her she didn't need to look back...she's moving another rung up the path of independence.... it's better than having her cling to your legs, where you had to physically put her on the bus screaming and crying not to leave her!
This G'ma drove bus this morning for my 28th yr. of "first day of schools"... I've seen it all. I'm proud of you Miss Delaney!
